Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for supply chain software solutions, from initial concept development to final delivery, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals. Act as the expert and voice internally for product design, research, and user experience.

• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behaviours, pain points, and preferences.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate user flows, interactions, and visual aesthetics.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and iterate on design solutions based on feedback and data.

• Oversee the software implementation of product design work, providing valuable feedback to software development teams and interfacing with product management to ensure the delivery of products meets usability standards and user expectations. Provide implementation support and guidance as needed.

• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases related to product design work, implementation guidelines, and best practices. Ensure that these resources are accessible and beneficial not only to product management and software development teams but also to the design team itself, supporting collaboration, consistency, and continuous improvement.

• Mentor and coach junior designers, providing guidance on design principles, processes, and tools to foster their growth and development.

• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management and user experience design, sharing insights and recommendations with the team to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for enterprise software applications

• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and outcomes, with an emphasis on complex workflows.

• Proficiency in design tools.

• Deep understanding of user-centred design principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions.

• Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile development processes and methodologies.

• Passion for supply chain management, logistics, and technology, with a desire to make a positive impact on the industry through innovative design solutions.
