At Tabby, we're in a constant phase of rapid expansion, and the heart of our product's aesthetic and functionality — our design system — is in need of a dedicated steward. This is where you come in.
Own and Elevate: Take full ownership of our design system, focusing on meeting current needs while also anticipating future trends and maintaining flexibility. Your mission will be to ensure our design system remains relevant, utilises all modern Figma features and supports a balance of creativity and functionality, while being user-friendly, properly documented and implemented.
Collaborate and Guide: Your primary 'customers' are the talented designers and developers within Tabby. You'll play a critical role in empowering them, ensuring the design system facilitates their work seamlessly across iOS, Android and web platforms. With multiple teams developing new features simultaneously, your role is crucial in organising these efforts, constantly keeping the design system updated, so that designers can dedicate their time to solving customer-facing UX problems.
Lead with Excellence: Reporting directly to the Head of Design, you'll set the bar high. Your work will help our design system maintain its high standards, flexibility, and ensure smooth design-dev coordination.
Be at the forefront of design innovation in a rapidly growing unicorn company.

An absolute master of Figma with a good understanding of development principles for iOS, Android and web platforms.
An experienced designer passionate about systems and ready to focus on helping other teams reach their goals.
A collaborative leader, eager to work with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and receiving input to refine and advance our design system.
Someone with a keen eye for detail and a vision for the big picture, balancing innovation with consistency. Your layer structure is stellar and your visual solutions are in perfect harmony.
You are proficient in composition, colour theory and typography. Bonus points if you have experience designing icons!
Ideally you have experience with both LTR and RTL languages, as our design system supports both English and Arabic.
