Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Design System Manager to join our Design team. Reporting to the Product Design Director, the Design System Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and promoting TeamViewer’s design system of components, iconography, language and interaction patterns across our suite of products running on desktop, web and mobile. In addition, the talent we are looking for will be the primary point of contact for all Design and R&D teams regarding our design system and its implementation.
The impact of your work at TeamViewer will pave the way for how we innovate our products into a unified and cohesive user experience used by over 620k companies and their collaborators in the remote support and work-space and beyond.
These will be some of your main tasks:
Develop and maintain the company’s Figma libraries for desktop, mobile, and smart glasses;
Document and communicate design system best practices across the organization and implement a contribution model that streamlines the push-pull process from multiple teams;
Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure consistent implementation of the design system and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute on a consistent roadmap and set of priorities;
Identify opportunities for improvement and proactively seek out designs that solve discrepancies and solutions that scale;
Support and train other team members in the use of the design system while providing design leadership and guidance to product teams;
Research and evaluate new technologies and tools and engage with the broader community to enhance our framework for accessibility and inclusion.
Qualifications
Academic background in Graphic Design, Media Communication or other related field.
Previous experience with Design Systems
Experience in designing experiences for both web and mobile
Experience with Figma
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with diverse teams in a dynamic and growing environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
