Uphold is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our Product team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part by crafting exceptional user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and designing interfaces that address user pain points.

This isn't just a typical Product Design role; it's about shaping the entire Uphold experience, both within and beyond the app.

Your primary question to answer is: How can we design impactful experiences that enhance the overall Uphold journey?

What You'll Be Doing

Define product experiences that simplify financial services and foster transparency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to conceptualize and bring innovative product ideas to life.
Create user flows, interactions, and experiences that are intuitive, consistent, and optimized across web and mobile platforms.
Drive the development of the Uphold Design System to ensure a unified approach to product design.
Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
Utilize service design methodologies to enhance the end-to-end user journey and overall service ecosystem.
Demonstrate technical knowledge to create white-label systems and APIs for scalable and customizable solutions.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve design solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of design experience at consumer-focused tech or media companies.
Strong online portfolio showcasing your design skills.
Proficiency in designing for multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop) using tools like Figma, Sketch, etc.
In-depth knowledge of UX best practices, including user research and accessibility.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience in fintech or finance-related design as a Product Designer.

Importantly, for a senior role, you will have achieved the above while also mentoring others and engaging in public speaking opportunities.
